Super Heroes for HOPE 5K
|

Join Koach Karl as he finishes a 200-mile run from Kansas City to Springfield, MO, benefiting the HOPE Foundation! HOPE Sertoma is hosting a 5K run to coincide with the end of Koach Karl's 200-mile endurance run.
All proceeds will benefit the HOPE Foundation, a Springfield, Mo., foundation. This foundation is "Helping Overcome Pediatric Emergencies" by addressing the financial needs of families not covered by national foundations and insurance, when they're faced with a pediatric emergency.
Koach Karl is a former Marine who has been running for almost 30 years. He has been a personal trainer since 1982 and endurance coach since 1999. He is a two-time Badwater Ultramarathon finisher and three-time Ironman Triathlon finisher. Along the way, he has completed 23 ultras and 61 marathons. Karl's daughter, Kandice, a HOPE Sertoma member, will be running a 50K for the HOPE Foundation as well.
Karl will begin his 200 mile run July 29. Kandice will begin her 50K on July 30, and our 5K race will be held during Karl and Kandice's last legs of their runs, on August 1.
More details to come in the weeks to follow! We hope to see you out August 1 to support this newly chartered local foundation that is making a difference in the lives of local families suffering from the tragedy of a pediatric emergency.
We applaude your contribution and the families truly offer their sincerest gratitude for what you're doing.
